A close up of a window Description automatically generated The most common allergic triggers of asthma are house dust-mites, pets, pollen and mould. Continued exposure to indoor and outdoor areas that are damp and have mould can trigger asthma and allergy symptoms in some people, with some reactions being severe.

Mould is commonly found in bathrooms, bedroom and moist areas, it’s also found in places with little air circulation such as walk-in and built-in wardrobes, and in bedrooms with en suite bathrooms where the moisture can’t escape.

Recently in Townsville floods hundreds of houses have been damaged by fast-spreading mould on walls, curtains, beds, mattresses, pillows, sheets and clothes. Jellyfish bedding and mattresses manufacture an Australian made mould, fungi and hose dust – mite resistant mattresses and pillows, these are treated with Ultra Fresh PH1 which inhibits the growth of any of these allergens that can be so harmful to our health.
